CAPE REPORT
At the last cape mohair sale of this season there was good all round competition for the limited quantity on offer.
We quote the market in comparison with last sale:
Kid types 1% dearer on all qualities
Young goats 1-2% easier
Adult/Fine adult firm unchanged
There will be no mohair offered for sale now until mid-February 2020.
CAPE REPORT At today’s Cape sale, the first of the winter season, there were 882 bales offered and 588 sold (67%). CAPE REPORT At today’s Cape sale (Monday instead of Tuesday which is a public holiday in South Africa) there were 1158 bales offered and 953 bales sold under strong competition. Kid mohair—firm. Young goat—4% easier. Adult—3% easier. The next sale will be 30th June (the last one of the season).
