Abbotsford Textiles unveils 7 new colours in the ‘Texture’ Collection.

Abbotsford Textiles, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality woven fabrics, unveils seven brand new colours for their popular fabric collection ‘Texture’, available on their website.

Now available in a total of 19 colours, ranging from darker shades like ‘Shadow’ a dark grey to bright shades of Teals ‘Spruce’ and Blues ‘Cadet Blue’ and green ‘Eucalyptus’ as well as soft tempered neutrals like ‘White’ and ‘Silver’. Each new shade compliments a wide range of design choices making the fabric more versatile for upholstery, curtains and accessories for commercial or home interiors.

The Texture collection is a blend of 85% Wool, 10% Mohair and 5% Nylon, designed to produce an on-trend boucle, a popular, contemporary texture which creates depth and has a bubbly and inviting feel. The new colours in the Texture collection compliment many shades in their large ‘Classic Melton’ range which is crafted from 100% Melton Wool, available in 100 commercial colour choices, like ‘Rosemary’ green to ‘Ash’ grey.

Weighing 726glm this fabric offers durability at a competitive price point, appealing to those seeking a high-quality performing fabric. With fire-resistant properties that are certified to British Standard (BS5852:2006, Crib 5 FR and BS5867:2 Type B FR Contract Curtains & Drapes and BS7176 Low Hazard (Cigarette and Match FR). Combined with a 40,000 Martindale abrasion cycle, the fabric positions itself as a reliable choice for various interior settings.
